Tale Summary — The Lost World
The Lost World is my second tale, it’s an adventure story, I liked it so much because there are many strange and exciting events which had happened. This story begins inside of the newspaper, there had been a successful reporter, he was writing about a piece of unusual news.
One day, he asked his boss to find him an exciting adventure to write about it, However. His boss sent him to the Zoologist was known as Dr. Challanger, this scientist had found out strange things about the Amazon river in South America, but Malone the reporter’s name remembered this scientist didn’t like to meet the reporters, so the reporter thought in a trick to meeting Dr. Challenger, he sent a letter to him as he was a science student when the Zoologist received his letter, he invited him to visit his house. Days later, Mr. Malone visited the scientist, he had begun to ask him to explain for him new facts he had discovered then Dr. Challenger found out he wasn’t a science student. Soon the scientist had done a conference about these facts, but anybody didn’t believe him so he suggested who come with him to the Amazon river to find out.
They came with three people a scientist: who called Dr. Summerlee and our reporter Mr. Malone as well as a traveler who called Roxton Lord. When they had arrived at the Amazon river, they met the Indians who were living there, they camped in the forest. Throughout their journey, they saw many strange creatures and things, therefore they found the truth about the lost world and many others topics. when they went back to London. they showed to people the fact and they brought with them a shred of evidence which was a baby of a strange creature, in fact, the people, at last, believe them.
